Sewing for beginners | How to make basic patterns

Hi loves

I’ve put together 2 tutorials on how to draft personalized basic bodice and sleeve patterns for yourself (or someone else). This will be especially helpful if you’re at the beginning of your sewing journey—regardless, they are both essential patterns to have for almost any outfit.

First, you'll need:

• pattern paper (or a regular roll of brown or white paper)

• some sort of marker to appropriately label your markings on the pattern block

• measuring tape

• scissors

• tape
