Happy 3rd Advent!
Advent has always meant something to me, but not for obvious reasons. I was raised a little bit catholic, but outgrowing the grips of religion doesn't take away the things you learned - one of which is the advent and what it means.
Advent /ˈadˌvent/
a coming into place, view, or being; an arrival.
the arrival of a notable person, thing, or event.
Every year, when this season (Christmas/New Year) comes around, I relish in the hope that it brings, and I recently found a caption I wrote in June that I wanted to share with you ✨

Reminder: there is no path until you walk it
Sometimes you won’t know how things will turn out until you start. And sometimes you won’t be great without first being mediocre - especially when you’re doing something for the first time.
You’ve got time to start now OR pick up from where you left off.
One thing is certain. You will die (sorry 😌, but we all will), so you better live.
